Toni Nunes
Toni Nunes (she/her) provides leadership and operations management for the Natural Capital Alliance. She brings 25 years of experience to shape strategies and manage administrative operations. During 2016-2025, she directed the strategy and operations for the Stanford Center for Clinical Research. There she led exponential growth for a team that implemented hundreds of high-impact projects to improve health around the world. Prior to this, her experience spanned global health and sustainability initiatives in Seattle and Washington, D.C.—including the Global Alliance to Prevent Prematurity and Stillbirth, Gates Foundation, and World Wildlife Fund. Her leadership approach creates aligned and efficient resources to accelerate impact and scalable solutions. She holds an MPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, an MA in Policy Studies (environmental concentration) from Johns Hopkins University, and an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies.
Toni is a native San Franciscan and is currently based near Stanford. She enjoys nature photography, hiking, and traveling with her husband, young adult children, and giant adopted Mastidoodle.
