Duval Llaguno

Duval is a Sector Lead Specialist in the Biodiversity and Natural Capital Unit of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), with more than 20 years of experience at the institution. He currently co-leads a GEF-funded regional technical cooperation to integrate natural capital into public policies and investment decisions, in collaboration with the Natural Capital Alliance, and has contributed to the implementation and monitoring of the IDB Group’s Biodiversity and Natural Capital Action Plan. He holds a Law degree (Juris Doctor) as well as master’s degrees in international sciences (Universidad Central del Ecuador), Project Management (University for International Cooperation, Costa Rica), and Climate Change Law and Economics (FLACSO Argentina)
