Natural Capital Young Leaders Prize

The vision of the Natural Capital Young Leaders Prize is to elevate young leaders who are advancing a world in which people – in government, the private sector, development banks, NGOs, and communities – recognize the values of nature in supporting human well-being, and routinely incorporate them into development decisions. 

There is enormous potential to transform decision-making systems through natural capital approaches. The Prize brings visibility and professional opportunity to promising young leaders and early career professionals around the globe who are working to realize this potential by driving innovation and adoption of natural capital approaches.

The program shines a light on these efforts by

1. Elevating early career individuals, including representatives from low-income countries, who bring visibility, credibility, and impact through their work with policymakers and finance institutions at various scales worldwide
2. Building their professional experience, capacity, and network
