2026 Natural Capital Symposium

Over 350+ attendees from 30+ countries joined us June 29th - July 1st for a special 20th anniversary edition of the Natural Capital Symposium. Hosted by the Natural Capital Alliance at Stanford University, our 2026 convening brought together leaders from governments, international financial institutions, researchers and practitioners, and the private sector to discuss how natural capital approaches are being integrated into policy and finance decisions. Participants shared how advances in science, data, and tools are helping institutions improve real-world outcomes for economies, communities, and ecosystems through the inaugural InVEST Contributors Track. Attendees also connected with peers from across sectors – and across science, policy, finance, and practice – to share insights from their work and shape the next phase of global efforts to integrate nature in decision-making.
